The location was amazing, over looking the loch. The host had supplied fresh eggs from her hens, local cheese, oatcakes aswell as some local beer. Lots of information supplied in a book in the lodge along with maps. Fully stocked with everything you could need. The lodge was very clean. The sheep's, hens and other animals all come up to the lodge which we thoroughly enjoyed. A break away from internet and distractions was a dream.

Location was directly across from the train station. As Mallaig is quite small, shopping and restaurants ("The Bakehouse" for breakfast, "The Cabin Restaurant" for supper (after the "Harry Potter" train departs)) are all located within 2 or 3 blocks. Sharing a bathroom with the other 2 or 3 rooms was not an issue, as it was kept very clean.

Sharon is lovely and so hospitable. the breakfast she made us was delicious and all the facilities were great. we felt very at home here:)
