Hiljuti renoveeritud Room at the Back, 2 George Street asub Avochis, Invernessi lossist ja Invernessi raudteejaamast 18 km kaugusel. Rachael was really friendly and helpful and she went out of her way to help me explore the Fairy Glen hiking trail in the limited time I was there. The location was nice and central to what I wanted to see. Bus stops were very close, which made traveling easy. And I loved the personal touch with a handwritten welcome note, flowers and a little card.

Close to lots of activities and a co-op and coffee shop just a few minutes drive. Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Guthrie and Horst are world travelers and we engaged in interesting conversations about Scotland's history and many other topics. Such an interesting and gracious couple who treated us like family rather than guests.  Not only did they provide us with a warm, modern and clean room but also the most comfortable bed we have slept in on our month long trip.  The Mended Drum's beautiful gardens enhance the captivating views of the North Sea sunrises. The adjoining golf course is a plus for you golfers. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Guthrie and Horst!
