Located in the heart of the Normandie Maine regional park, the Hotel Bellevue is opposite the castle of Bagnoles de L'Orne on the route of the Véloscénie and the GR22. It is fully renovated hotel with the modern equipment and very nice bedroom and bathroom. Stuff was super friendly and breakfast was excellent. Very nice area and in general - it is really great hotel

Ambience,staff,rooms & food - this hotel is a delight & we will return. Dogs are made welcome -it’s easy to say dogs welcome -but this hotel really means it! Only mistake we made was not to book two nights 😉

This beautiful castle set in the heart of a 25-acre park blends the pleasures of a Renaissance château with the comfort of a boutique hotel and was once a hideaway for Henry IV. The Chateau de Saint Paterne is an absolutely gorgeous manor house just outside of Alencon. The host was warm and welcoming, and allowed us to stay in a ground floor suite because I have some difficulty walking. This place was a feast for the eyes, beautifully decorated with objets d'art from many centuries. The dinner was splendid, due to the lovely candle lit dining room, the straightforward, perfectly prepared meal and the convivial atmosphere. This was the highlight our our 10-day trip and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to stay there.

Such a cozy family-run hotel! The owners are both so so kind, they went above and beyond to help me with calling taxis and arranging the transportation. Breakfast was delicious! Much more than the simple French breakfast which usually is only croissant and baguette with butter & jam... I was offered cheese, yoghurt and freshly-made eggs. Comfy & clean room, bathroom and bed. Even though there are trucks driving by at night, you don't hear the noice once the windows are closed. Loved the stay!

I buttoned holed him and it appeared he was the son of the owner, as after a long conversation with his parents I was allowed in He charged me €70 when the offered rate was €50. Of course I couldn’t argue. This place should be banned from listing on Booking
