The grounds and gardens were inviting and interesting. The link between travel and histories was seamless and provided additional interest. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant on both nights. The hotel seems to strive for quality and a positive experience, and staff is very friendly and helpful (with particular compliments to Aurélie who gave us such a good welcome). Location right next to the botanical garden is great too. Silent room and quiet surroundings.

This Campanile hotel is a 3-minute drive or 10 minutes in public transport from the city centre of Nantes. It offers modern guest rooms, a restaurant and a 24-hour lounge bar. The overall looks of the hotel, the fact that it is new. The location of the hotel suited our needs perfectly and it is comfortably reachable from both the airport and the train station. It is really close to the town center as well so it is a plus too, yet the district is quiet and the noise insulation of the room is pretty good too. The room was also perfectly clean so I was really satisfied with that. Actually I often chose Campanille in places where I travel to because of the ideal value to price ratio.

Hôtel de la Marine is located opposite the Parc de la Begraisiere, 5 km from Nantes city centre. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access, a TV and a private bathroom. A buffet breakfast is served... In a beautiful park setting . We parked our car at the hotel and rode the bus in to the town. It was a few minutes walk to the C6 bus stop. The bus and tram were free at the weekend and the service ran frequently. It was relaxing not to have to drive and park in the city. The hotel staff were very helpful to advise where to go.
