We stayed in order to visit the Fete des Boeuf Gras Bazas. For us, communications were top class, with a caring and warm welcome, which was totally evident throughout our stay. Our room, 11, could not have been more perfect for our needs. The location of the hotel was perfect, in order to easily walk to centre ville, and what a treat centre ville is, the most magnificent Cathedrale, and surrounding historic buildings. At the Rodin, there is a comfortable shared lounge, and quaint terrace at the entrance. The Hotel is newly refurbished to a high standard, Fenella and staff could not have been more helpful, she booked a table at the fabulous Indigo for us. For travellers, there is a laundrette right next to the Hotel. Easy parking is normally opposite the Hotel, Make time to visit La Cave, on the short walk to the Cathedrale. We have pleasure in recommending 100% the Rodin and its Owner.

Only ten minute drive to St Emilion which is beautiful but busy so it’s nice to go back to the quiet village of Montagne. Staff very nice and friendly. There are two hotel restaurants- one is Michelin- and a very nice other restaurant 3 mins walk away.

The facilities are super pretty, everything well designed and the room was bigger and better than expected. Service was great, and staff helped us booking a restaurant reservation, a taxi twice and even helped us to communicate with the local taxi so we wouldnt have any trouble with the language barrier. Breakfast was good, location is right in the centre and we even recieved a free wine tasting as a gift for our stay.

Quiet location but just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Some good restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and helped us feel comfortable with our basic French. Most staff speak good English - but some use of French is going to go a long way. Breakfasts are excellent, for an extra charge. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel. We warmly recommend the Villa du Moulleau!
