We were very impressed by the welcoming and attentive staff at the Hotel-Restaurant Bel Ami. When we discovered that our allocated room was on the second floor, accessed by a steep and narrow staircase, we requested a room on a lower floor and were relocated to an excellent room on the first floor with views over the adjacent River Eure. We dined in the restaurant twice and enjoyed outstanding meals. The waiting staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The secure free parking was much appreciated.

steeped in history. the surrounding gardens and landscape are absolutely beautiful. breakfast was delicious with fresh pastries and fruits and homemade jams. chateau the Bonnemare is very well situated to explore the beautiful Seine valley and woods of Lyons la Foret.

Amazing experience to have a lovely afternoon nap in the garden, looking to a magnificent view. Followed by a romantic candle lit dinner, with delicious food. Especially desserts were great. To have a nice walk in the premices after dinner and wake up early to watch the sunrise is a must. Planning to go back soon.
