Hotel Mercure Chartres Cathedrale is located at the heart of Chartres, overlooking the cathedral and market. It has air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and free WiFi access. when I wake up in the morning, I can see the beautiful cathedral from my bed! It was one of the best mornings of my life!!! (You should request a room with a view of the cathedral whenever possible) I had an issue with our room on arrival but the staff quickly and enthusiastically resolved the issue. especially the reception staff are always friendly, helpful and wonderful. the room facilities are perfect. I wanna live here XD

Located in Chartres city centre, this elegant hotel offers an 800m² spa with sauna, hammam and spa lounge for people aged 16 years old and above, The guest benefit from a special rate for the acces. The hotel is located in the center of Chartres just a short hop from the Cathedral and the City Center. The Staff is very nice and helpful. The make you feel that you matter to them. The room and bath room are very spacious, and equipped with everything necessary. Bedding is comfortable with a good mattress and a large choice of pillows. The buffet breakfast (19 euros) is outstanding with a large variety of food. I had dinner at La Cour restaurant (reserve with time if you want to have dinner at a decent time). I had a soup, a large salad and mineral water for about 30 euros. Everything was rather good. Private parking costs 10 euros a night.
