This Campanile hotel is situated in Chaintre, just 8 km from the centre of Mâcon and a 5-minute drive from the A6 motorway. Aircon worked well. Next to a good Buffalo Gril next door which also had good Aircon.

Located in Cluny, 1 km from the abbey and the roman city centre, Hostellerie d'Héloïse features a gastronomic restaurant, a bar and a secure shed for bikes and motorbikes. My wife and I were made very welcome by the owners and later had a splendid meal in the Hotel.

Le Chardon is set in the wine-producing village of Chardonnay, a 30-minute drive from both Mâcon and Chalon-sur-Saône. Le Chardon is run by a very nice young couple giving good service.

La Maison Blanche is situated in Romaneche Thorins, a 5-minute drive from the A6 motorway. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a sunbathing terrace and a family-run restaurant. Fantastic restaurant. Food was really good. Accomodation was very clean. Good parking.
