Located in Ronda’s former Jewish Quarter, this charming hotel enjoys beautiful views of the Mediaeval town and mountains. It has an outdoor pool, set in gardens, and free WiFi. Our Room, the Breakfast Area in the Garden were absolutely magnificent. Breakfast was delicious and the Staff very accommodating.

Our experience with the manager at the restaurant made our whole 3 weeks in Spain. I know that soon, the price of staying is going to be very high. So while it's reasonable, do not hesitate.

This felt like true, old-fashioned Spain -- maybe even better than I had imagined. The hacienda setting amid olive groves in the mountains, plus pool, excellent AC, and fabulous shared kitchen were all extraordinary. One evening as we were sitting by the pool, a friendly fox trotted over to say hi. And the owner, Marie, was terrific, esp when we mislaid our keys late in the evening. Oh, and nearby Ronda is not to be missed. We even got to enjoy a local flamenco concert / lesson.

We had the room with the bathroom upstairs, in the tower. The view was AMAZING!!! I can’t even explain it, just incredible view from ALL the windows. The HUGE 2 person tub was fantastic (also a nice shower in there). The hotel was in a good location. We walked all over from there. The patio, off the dining room area, has a great view of the gorge and bridge. Took photos from that patio-balcony. Our room had a nice sofa and a nice little balcony.

It's a working farm with a variety of animals to keep the kids amused. You can do worse than simply spending the day on the premises. Ideal location for exploring the Sierra de Grazalema and within easy reach of Arcos, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville and Setenil for a day trip. El Bosque is a charming little town with a nice selection of supermarkets cafes and restaurants. It's also the location of the office which issues the permits needed for some of the walks in the area. Excellent value for money. Our new favourite country retreat.
