The historic Hospederia de los Parajes has its own spa centre with hammam, hot tub and wine therapy. There is free Wi-Fi access and stylish design throughout. This hotel is located in the centre of the pedestrian only, beautiful old town of Laguardia. The staff were welcoming and we had excellent service, with complementary wine from their winery and an exceptional meal in their restaurant. Would recommend not to miss this location.

Such an amazing unexpected experience in a tiny town. An absolutely beautiful property with next level service. The rooms felt like you walked in architectural digest. Everything from the linens to the bathroom to the perfect huge soaking tub to listen to the church bells. Can’t wait to be back!

Nestled in the beautiful Basque countryside, this enchanting castle has been converted into a charming boutique hotel with a fine restaurant and a tower overlooking the surrounding vineyards. Amazing historic building. Beautiful interior which felt authentic but was also modern and comfortable. Great views across the area from the top of the tower. Very nice breakfast. Free parking available across the street. Mostly the owner was fantastic. He was so helpful and welcoming, he managed to get us into wineries for tastings by calling ahead for us.

Asador Jatorrena is located in the village of Labastida, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa region. It offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Riojan and Basque food. Excellent room. Good price. Food very good. Very good location to see a very interesting settlement. Recommend without hesitation.

This design hotel is in Villabuena de Álava, in the La Rioja Alavesa Wine Region. There is free WiFi, free public parking and a rooftop terrace with views of the Sierra de la Cantabria Mountains. Beautiful hotel, very unique, modern style. The city is quite “dead”, but it’s good option to sleep in Rioja.
