Hotel Abat Cisneros Montserrat has an excellent location right by Montserrat Monastery, dating from 1563. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. Location is good, rooms are big, the view on the monastary from the room was great. The hotel is very close to where the hikes start and end. The dinner in the hotel was good and the staff are nice and kind.

The owner was very responsive and helpful even meeting us at the train station to help us with our luggage to the home. The house had little extras of coffee, spices and cold water in the fridge awaiting our arrival. It was lovely to awake to open the window to see the mountains and the peacefulness of the town.

Views cannot be beat, beautiful location! Apartment was well kept and stocked with all necessities. A very helpful guide for the apartment and surrounding area was provided by the hosts prior to our arrival. Plenty of room for two people to spread out.

This historic townhouse has been carefully renovated to create a charming small hotel. It lies at the foot of Montserrat – the most important and impressive religious site in Catalonia. We enjoyed everything, the very attractive surroundings, comfortable room, great breakfast, not to mention a very thoughtful host
