This is a great place to stay in - very comfortable room with a minibar and coffee-making facilities, a great breakfast buffet and a storage room for bicycles. We would stay definitely stay here again.

Located in Nohra, 15 km from Erfurt, Kräuterhotel Garni Zur Klostergrotte features free WiFi access and free private parking. The hotel has a children's playground and views of the garden. A very peaceful, well situated place. The room was immaculate and the staff very helpful. I strongly recommend.

Old fashioned good old German hotel. Nothing bling bling but a proper absolutely decent place to stay. The hotel is located amid nature. Mentally very relaxing place! Fantastic views and very chill and relaxed friendly staff. Ample parking space. Very good bed, and super quiet. Only sound comes from nature. Very tasty breakfast (no buffet) in a traditional decorated dining room. Be aware that dinner is only served when ordered during the day. Be advised that the nearest restaurant is not in walking distance.

Located on the outskirts of Ettersburg, this hotel is set in a historic palace and surrounded by an extensive English garden. It offers an elegant restaurant and spacious accommodation with free WiFi.... Beautiful historic location. Not near anything so be prepared to just enjoy the peace and quiet, about a 15 minute drive to the nearest town of Weimar, if you want to go out for dinner or drinks. The castle restaurant bar is satisfactory, but is empty at night.

Situated in the town of Apolda in the Thuringian countryside, the 3-star Hotel 2 Länder offers classically furnished rooms and a pavilion restaurant serving regional and seasonal dishes. The breakfast options were good. The hotel administrator assisted me with obtaining a taxi to the train station prior to my departure, which was greatly appreciated as I don't speak German.

Set within a spacious estate dating from 1806, this apartment within Auerstedt Castle offers magnificent design and easy access to Bad Sulza, the Toskana Therme spa, and Weimar. We had chosen a double room apartment and it was fabulous. The living room was very spacious with an attached kitchen at one end. Rooms were clean. Parking is inside the hotel premises. Hence, one need not worry about their vehicles.
