Very modern and clean. It was built in 2019 but looked new. Breakfast was very good and the people were friendly and helpful. We tried to re book for a later stay but it was unavailable when we were going to be back in the area. I would certainly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. The view out our window was outstanding and looking toward Frankfurt.

Located in Trechtingshausen, 39 km from Main Station Mainz, Burg Reichenstein provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This place has the atmosphere of a private resort. The reception staff were extremely helpful and even provided an electrical adapter when I realized I had left mine at my previous stop. The included breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, with plentiful choices. We ate dinner at the Puricelli restaurant both nights, and the meals were exceptional. We took most of a day to explore the castle, and only left the property to hike the trail just behind the castle. I will recommend Burg Reichenstein to anyone traveling to this area.
