Set in Simmerath, 37 km from Aachen Central Station, JUULS - Natur Hotel Garni offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choices and local products and fruits. Possibility to pack lunch for when you are hiking, biking, etc. Free coffee and tea during the day. Very welcoming and friendly host. Location is also excellent, the hiking routes start right in front of the hotel.

Haus Stehlings features views of the Old Town of Monschau. The guest house provides guests with free WiFi and is located a 1 hour drive from Cologne. Spacious apartment on the top floor of a very old building in the heart of historic Monschau (spoiler: no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up some very uneven old staircase - living in history has its downsides for some, not for us). Good explanation of check-in procedure, everything in this town is only a few footsteps away. Another spoiler: you have to park in a parking garage about 250 m away from the property, but back then they did not build for cars in the heart of a city. Monschau itself is as beautiful as shown on the pictures - well preserved buildings, but modern inside. No kitchen, as that might cause problems with fire safety, but a fridge, water cooker and coffee maker. And "Printen" (a local and very good specialty) as a nice welcome on the beds.

This family-run Hotel is located on the scenic Eifelsteig route in the Eifel National Park, 4.5 km from Monschau City. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Monschau. Lovely room and shower, great breakfast and nice to be able to lock up the bicycles in a shed and to have easy and free parking at the premises. We would love to come back another time.

Offering a restaurant, the 3-star superior Horchem Hotel-Restaurant-Café-Bar is located in Monschau. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV and satellite channels. The balance between price and quality was exceptional. Our room offered a breathtaking view of the vibrant square by the river, with charming sights of the church and red house. The spacious room and bathroom, complete with a relaxing bath, provided a touch of luxury. Despite the proximity to a nearby waterfall, the well-insulated windows ensured minimal disturbance. Additionally, we had the fortune of being there during a delightful music evening, which we could enjoy from the comfort of our room. The breakfast was delightful and perfectly complemented the overall experience.
