Nice hotel few steps from the ocean. Frontside cocktailbar with Oceanview. We liked the open way the building was, Galeries with rooms and open air in the middle. A little pool to cool off. Help from local staff at the debarkment to get to hotel and help to book excursions.

We had breakfast and dinner service and it was very good. The tour guides were very professional. We were thoughtful because of how hard it is to bring stuff to this little place and how good they did it.

Close proximity to everything. Clean, comfortable, and friendly. We took the night to through Tuanis with Bernie and I highly recommend it. We say everything and more. I would definitely stay here again.

Marcia and her family are the most warm-hearted and helpful hosts we’ve had so far. Also, it was great that we were welcomed by a first contact person at the parking area - even before taking the boat from La Pavona. While waiting for the boat we got the first information regarding available tours and other helpful recommendations for our stay.

It’s has clean rooms and a nice open area with hammocks. I can highly recommend taking the guided tours with Edil and Arturo who are very knowledgeable about the sea turtles and the jungle.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, Los Amigos Jungle Hotel is situated in Tortuguero in the Limon Region, Located 50 mtrs behind Liceo barra de Tortuguero. The room was just perfect, the staff were very helpful, the little kitchen area was very appreciated and the pool was great. highly recommended.

Great location. Very close to the beach and national park. Short walk to town. Hammocks to rest in outside. Quiet at night. I could hear the sound of the waves. Ask for a map of the town because at first it’s a little confusing. I think mostly locals stay here. No AC but it wasn’t needed. My room had 3 beds and a fan for each bed. The proprietor used an app to translate his Spanish into English for me. I was very pleased with this place.
