Everything was new and very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, so we could cook all our meals. The bed was huge and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was super friendly and helpful all the time. The whole property was very clean and modern, and lovely overall - incl the rooms, the pool, the eating area, it even had meeting rooms!

Breakfast was amazing. There are only 6 rooms so it felt very private. Outdoor space is so amazing and relaxing. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Το Hotel Casa Carlota Tamarindo βρίσκεται στο Ταμαρίντο και διαθέτει κήπο. I travel a lot and I don't think I've met friendlier or more helpful hosts at this hotel. Due to a shortage of rental cars throughout Costa Rica, I was without transportation when I arrived at the hotel. Jeffrey and Shirley gave me a ride to downtown Tamarindo and even took time from their busy schedule to provide a personal tour of the town. Shirley even arranged an Uber taxi for me to travel to my next stop at Coco Beach. They are renovating the hotel and it is now modern, clean and reasonably priced.

As it says in the description this is a beautiful boutique hotel, evocative (to me) of similar places in Ibiza, Mykonos and Bali. The owner Johanna (I didn’t meet her husband, though he made delicious and generous breakfasts!) was a really wonderful ‘host’ (if that’s the right word) - warm, friendly, welcoming and accommodating (we were able to check-in very early, and check-out a little later, which we didn’t expect and wouldn’t always be possible, obviously). Johanna was knowledgeable and helpful about the area and transfers etc. and struck the right balance between being friendly and, for example, happily chatting about the family’s transition from France to Costa Rica (which I asked about and was really interested in) and not being intrusive. As well as the warmth and friendliness (and as is always the case in successful boutique hotels) the other key ingredient that made this place so special was the design and attention to detail. It’s beautiful and tranquil, has a minimalist yet tropical aesthetic, and the owner’s intended ethos was palpable throughout, it really ‘seeps in’ and takes you over; like most guests we balanced spending time at BoHo and the nearby beach (or wherever), but it’s just so relaxing it was often hard to leave! We loved this place, and loved Tamarindo too - it has a beautiful beaches and quieter parts, but plenty going on in terms of eating and drinking etc., and having a ‘vibe’. Listen & look out for the howler monkeys next to the hotel, too!

Beautiful apartments located within a small garden, outside of the busy area, but within 10min of waking distance. Easily the most comfortable apartment we've had in Costa Rica. Excellent communication with our hosts, we received a detailed document with recommendations and instructions upfront and someone was always available at the office for questions or just a friendly chat. Beach equipment was available free of charge. Amazing, highly recommend staying here. PS: to escape the crowds, check out Playa Langosta!

This property is just a 3 minute walk from Tamarindo beach, and features an outdoor pool in a tropical setting. There is free WiFi throughout the property, and daily housekeeping. First things first; the staff here are friendly, welcoming and always ready to assist - with a smile! They truly made me feel so welcome and they are all small rays of sunshine to brighten your day!! My room had everything I needed with a nice patio overlooking the pool - perfect for catching up on work. Internet was fast and had no issues the whole time I was there and breakfast is delicious and made at your leisure. The bed is comfy and the small beach area next to the pool is great for an afternoon snooze.

Γυάλισμα Το Hotel Flor y Bambu διαθέτει δωρεάν ποδήλατα, κοινόχρηστο lounge, κήπο και εγκαταστάσεις θαλάσσιων σπορ στην Playa Grande. You seriously don’t expect such a beautiful place when you drive through this area!! It really is a little jungle paradise with so many beautiful plants. We stayed in one of the tents and had an amazing time. In the Morning you hear all the animals making their noises, go have a swim in the pool and just relax, relax, relax…

Το Les Voiles Blanches - Luxury Lodge βρίσκεται στο Tamarindo και προσφέρει εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο και βεράντα. I love everything about this place. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The rooms are wonderful. It's very quiet there you can actually hear your thoughts 🙂. The pool and the garden are absolutely beautiful.
