Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Forget reading reviews at other hotels and weighing your options--do yourself a favour and just stay here. It is amazing, clean, your bungalows are comfortable. Each has a great back porch with sitting area directly facing the volcano. Food was excellent--the buffet breakfast was exceptional, and dinner and room service options were delicious, quality and value for money

Amazing view of the volcano, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Managed to see a few animals on the property, e.g. iguana. The room offered lots of privacy. Breakfast buffet had excellent choice. Staff very welcoming on arrival. Great facilities including swimming pools, spa, restaurants. Excellent value for money. Arenal is a great destination too, with so much to do.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla ja terrassiga Bungalows Las Iguanas Arenal Volcano asub Fortunas, 15 km kaugusel La Fortuna joast. The family that runs it were so sweet and everything was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the accommodations were impeccable!

Noah's Forest Hotel by Tifakara asub Fortunas, 7,4 km kaugusel La Fortuna joast. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. The hotel has private bungalows set away from one another enough to give the sense of privacy while enjoying natural plantings of trees and flowers all around. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. The breakfast had several tasty options to choose from and access to the juice and coffee machines. The dinner was delicious and Chef Alex presented the dishes to us. The location is close by car/taxi to downtown or to get to the spas, activities and food places. Noah’s rooms are very well accommodating with very comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and small sitting area. Since we were celebrating a special occasion we splurged for the room with a private hot tub. This was a great option after a long day of exploring.

Välibasseini ja spaakeskusega Finca Luna Nueva Lodge asub Alajuela piirkonnas Fortunas, 26 km kaugusel Monteverdest. Talumajutusel on aastaringselt avatud välibassein, päikeseterrass ja restoran. We stayed at Finca Nueva for 2 days. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! ROOM: Apparently we booked the best room (the Dome) that I highly recommend. It wasn’t more expensive than other rooms. It’s basically a huge bungalow with its own secluded garden. The room was huge and the interior was very unique. Very clean and cozy. There was a little kitchenette outside the bungalow with a tea pot/coffee maker/fridge with complimentary home brewed kombucha and homemade herbal tea. PROPERTY: this was what amazed as the most. This eco-friendly hotel is located on a few acres of rainforest. Their property included: a farm and a garden where they grow veggies, herbs, fruits, cocoa beans, tea, coffee, ginger, vanilla beans and DOZENS of other species if plants and beautiful flowers, a bamboo tower, a pool and a few MILES of trails through the rainforest that are perfectly maintained. They also offer tours like chocolate, coffee, animals/birds-watching tour that are highly rated but unfortunately they were fully booked so we couldn’t go. Also, they had an amazing yoga pavilion right next to our bungalow that we used a lot. During our stay we saw a sloth, agouties, toucans, parrots on the property. FOOD: Farm to table. They don’t have a set menu. Every day they decide what seasonal food they’ll serve based on what’s growing on their farm. They also prioritize buying from local farmers. Literally everything is homegrown, homemade and tastes delicious: bread, milk, kefir, butter, tea, chocolate… During our stay both breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Most delicious and healthy meals we’ve had in Costa Rica!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Tifakara Boutique Hotel is located just outside Arenal Volcano National Park in Fortuna where you can enjoy stunning volcanic views. Beautiful boutique hotel. Immersed in lush tropical grounds, full of lots of flora and fauna. The restaurant food was very tasty with a great breakfast. The staff went above and beyond with making our stay extra special, with room decoration and also with information on things to do in the area. Only a short uber ride into La Fortuna and a very short walk to the waterfalls. Definitely recommend it.
