Hotel Playa Scondida is a rustic-style lodge on Baru Island, 1 hour from Cartagena by motorboat. An amazing place with amazing people that helped me with everything and made our stay beautiful. Thanx a lot! Recommended

NENA BEACH CLUB & HOTEL features an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Baru. A few steps from Playa Blanca, the hotel provides a bar and water sports facilities. Great location, beach front and well stocked.

Located in Baru and with Playa Blanca reachable within 200 metres, Cristal Blue Barú provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. Really friendly staff and very accommodating when it comes to question (initially planned for a leave at 11am but were allowed to keep our suitcases in the room including the key until our departure at 1:30pm). We really like the Cristal Hamburguesa. Overall a quite placemat the end of Playa Blanca (its located in the north, the more south you go the more touristy it gets). Beautiful sunsets.

Posada donde Uriel Playa tranquila is located in Baru, a few steps from Playa Blanca. The hotel has a terrace and sea views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. We stayed two nights at Uriel's newly constructed pool villa "Casa Cafur" in the nearby town in Santa Ana, and spent the days at his Playa Tranquila beach house (quiet part of playa Blanca) Strong winds damaged most of the beach earlier that week so we were unable to spend the night as planned but Uriel saved our vacation with his pool villa, then we got to spend the days anyway at Playa Blanca so it was the best of both worlds. The beach is a quick 6000 peso ride from the villa. Let me tell you, when you enter Casa Cafur you realize you are entering somewhere special. You get that "wow" feeling once you enter the doors. It's a peaceful paradise, and feels totally private. He keeps the pool clean, and the cocktails are delicious! His staff are totally cool and they take care of everything like the richest resort. I proposed to my girlfriend at his beach house (posada donde Uriel) and when we returned to Casa Cafur, Uriel cooked us lobster and shrimp, champagne and we had the whole place to ourselves. Music, hammocks, cocktails and a clean pool. The village of Santa Ana is cool too, we drank and danced with the locals and sharwd way too many dollar beers. I trust Uriel and will always come back! Thank you Uriel for a special 3 days.

Situato sull'isola di Barú, a 20 minuti d'auto dalla Bahía de Barbacoas, il SABAI Beach offre un'area privata di 200 metri su una spiaggia di sabbia bianca e la connessione WiFi gratuita nelle aree... This is such a wonderful hotel with amazing welcoming and helpful staff and wonderful food. It is such a stunning part of the world and Sabai absolutely showcases the splendors of the beach and jungle. Everything we needed we got, including a trip to the National Aviary which was magnificent. Everyone at Sabai was fantastic, helpful, bright and warm, and the property was just beautiful. The food was especially excellent.
