Dating back to the 1930s, Wergenstein’s Hotel Restaurant Capricorns has been converted entirely to run on renewable energy sources. Very nice and cozy little pearl in the middle of the swiss mountains. Highly recommendable.

Built in traditional Walser style, Hotel Suretta is located in the centre of Splügen next to the Hinterrhein River. The family room was great, well appointed and cosy. We loved the mezzanine floor for the kids. Breakfast was sensational. The staff were lovely. The hotel and village are quintessentially Swiss.

Hôtel Bodenhaus se găsește în Splügen, la 21 km de Viamala Canyon, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. The situation for cycling the Splügen pass is incomparable!! The welcome, the check-in was friendly and seamless. The room spacious and comfortable… No ‘frills’ i.e. no tea making facilities, no hairdryer… only hand soap and shampoo dispenser in shower.. The sauna and pool are excellent for a hotel of this size… and they even kept it on for us as we missed out (due to Covid restrictions on allowing only 2 in the sauna at a time)

Convenient location: very close to the main road, but at the same time relatively quiet, especially with the room facing the north side, which I strongly recommend - the view towards the village and the mountains is much better than that of the lake. Spacious and clean room. Well-working wifi. Possibility to park directly in front of the building. Extremely kind and helpful owners. Possibility to pay in Euro, and the fact that the final price was reduced (as compared with that stated in the Booking.com reservation) due to lower room occupancy – that’s a rare case of honesty in business these days.

In a historic building from 1828, Hotel Fravi offers free and direct access to Andeer’s public mineral spa, which includes indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna area. Great hotel. I liked the personal touch, really made you feel at home.

This traditional, country-style hotel in Splügen. It is surrounded by the scenic Lepontine Alps and the popular Splügen ski resort. Loved my stay! Excellent restaurant downstairs - a very cosy place to stay after a long day hiking

Only a 10-minute walk from the ski slopes in Medels im Rheinwald and next to the Reno River, this hotel offers a traditional restaurant and simple rooms with an en suite bathroom. everything the staff were great and the place was stunning

Aproape de Cheile Viamala, în inima regiunii Grisons, departe de stresul vieţii de zi cu zi. The staff was incredible nice and gave me some great hiking information and a trail map. The hotel was a short walk from the train station located in the center of town. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious. There is an amazing rooftop room/terrace which was a great place to have a drink in the afternoon/evening. The breakfast was great!
