I believe this is the nicest place I have ever been. From outside you would never guess. I LOVED it. Small, cosy, luxurious, down to earth. All in one. No idea how the architect managed. L'Hotel des Arts ofereix allotjament en una ubicació privilegiada, a només 200 m del llac i a prop del centre de Neuchâtel i del funicular, que us durà a l'estació de tren en 3 minuts. Comfortable bed(s). Large shower room with hand/hair/body wash. Balcony with lake view (did pay extra for balcony room) was great to sit out on. Friendly and courteous staff - reception and cleaners and at breakfast. My birthday was during the stay - lovely touch of food and drink in the room when came back that evening! Very good location for the lake, museums, park and places to eat and drink.

Located at Neuchâtel's harbour, Best Western Premier Hotel Beaulac is just a 2-minute walk from the historic city centre and the university. Professionell and friendly staff from reception to cleaning staff. Breakfast was good but could have instead of 2 different breakfast sausages a nice steamed or sauté vegetables. Otherwise the selection on the breakfast buffet was very good. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable and as a nice surprise we got a room with a small balcony overlooking the harbor and lake, and the shower was amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect. You can easily walk to the shops or take away food places, access all the ships and public transport. Inside the hotel Everything is easy accessible with wheelchairs or walking aids. The WiFi was perfect. Next time we go to Neuchatel, we stay again at this hotel.
