This mountain accommodation is set in a car-free zone at an altitude of 1,450 metres above Altdorf and Flüelen. Berggasthaus Eggberge can only be reached by cable car. Peace and quiet, wonderful view, great spot for a hike. Excellent food and service in the restaurant, we found breakfast was very good.

The breakfast is really good, the staff was kind enough to accommodate our diet requests. Easy parking, easy to find. Easy access from car to elevator and to the room.

Dating from the 18th century, Hotel Restaurant Goldener Schlüssel is located in the Old Town of Altdorf in the Canton of Uri. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute drive away. This is a great hotel, with a good restaurant and bar and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Located only 3 km from Lake Lucerne, Hotel Höfli is set in the oldest building of Altdorf, dating back to 1768. It features 2 restaurants and free private parking. Great location to town and only a quick drive to a few ski areas. Room was spacious and very clean. Mattresses had toppers which moved in the nignt, it was a bit weird of a bed set up but overall comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff was friendly. Would stay again.
