Beautiful property located on a mountain with a very nice view. It takes about 20 minutes by car to go up and down the main road to Brienz. The chalet was very clean, the kitchen was very well equipped with (almost) everything you need. Nice garden and pet friendly. Owners were very friendly and responsive. Would happily go back!

Great base for travelling around. The house was spotless clean and welcoming. It had everything you need and more...! We had excellent night sleeps in super comfy beds. The hosts are so lovely,very accommodating, responsive and very,very helpful. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burehüsli in Axalp. It surpassed all our expectations!! It's truly hidden gem. We didn't want to leave and would love to come back one day. I would highly recommend this accommodation!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH 😃

A Grandhotel Giessbach egy 1874-ben épült, történelmi épület egy 22 hektáros park közepén, élreeső helyen, a Brienz-tó feletti hegyen. The view and sound of the waterfall from the room is spectacular! Unfortunately leaving the balcony door open lets the flies or bees in. The room is large and comfortable, the furniture and the property itself make you feel like you are staying in a castle. The breakfast was very good with mimosas and piano playing and excellent service. Dinner in the restaurant with the view of the waterfall was excellent. The process of getting there was part of the enchantment , we went by ferry and then you go up in the most adorable funicular
