Hotel is near to the Appenzell train station(600m) We got an early check-in and late check-out. Delicious breakfast buffet. Spacious bathroom with a bath tub. Large balcony with a beatifull city view.

Well maintained and clean. We had the large upstairs family room to sleep four. Cold at night, with large comforters. Views of the town and Swiss countryside are amazing. Cows and Cow Bell sounds are everywhere. Food in restaurant was very good.

Offering panoramic views of the Alpstein Massif, Hotel Alpenblick is located in the village of Schwende in the Canton of Appenzell. It offers direct mountain views in all rooms. Lovely hotel facing the snowcapped mountain and the greenery hill with mountain peak background. Plenty of on-site parking spaces. Staff are very friendly. The hotel is well maintained, has lift and Michelin star restaurant. Our room has balcony and a bench to enjoy the beautiful view. Room is spotless. Towels have no musty smell. Bedding is clean. Bed is comfortable, we have a good sleep. Good breakfast. Exceptional dinner. We will return in our next Switzerland visit.
