Well stocked with great towels and a nice bbq, which we used, on the back porch which has a nice sitting area. Loved that we were very close to PEC (an easy drive) but in a quiet area. Karine and her husband Norm are wonderful hosts, from beginning to end. Karine was helpful with the tv setup. She has a real flare for decorating. The place was beautiful! We would highly recommend for two couples and will tell friends!

Located halfway between Brighten and Colborne, this secluded B&B serves a daily breakfast with farm fresh eggs, seasonal fruit, and local maple syrup. Free WiFi access is available. Burke and Ken are warm and obviously enjoy meeting people. Breakfast was tasty and filling. The home is outside of a lovely, small town and near a provincial park. We weren't looking to visit and didn't need any services beyond the accommodations, but it made for a restful stopover outside of the city on our drive to Montreal.

Beautiful B and B in lovely historic town of Port Hope . it’s an exceptional place to stay with gorgeous decor, huge comfy bed and amazing breakfast . Rose is warm, welcoming and friendly . She had created a wonderful place to stay with incredible attention to detail . The decor is so pretty and did I mention the exceptional breakfast? it’s not a cheap place to stay but it is a cut above the usual B and B’s we have stayed at .

This Port Hope property is conveniently located off Highway 401. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Rooms feature a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a microwave. Budget Inn is located on the old highway that was replaced long ago by the 401. It is about two km from 401, with quite simple access. There was no road noise at all. The real advantage of this motel was the staff. It is operated by a family, with lots of personal attention to detail. On arrival, the owner provided lots of helpful information. They keep the rooms to quite exacting standards, and they invested in recent upgrades. In my case, the real assistance came due to my silly mistake. I left my cellphone in the room on departure. The owners tried to contact me, but I had not entered emergency details that they could access. They followed up using the Bookings site, and I arranged to pick up the phone on the return trip. We stayed a second time, and it was just as comfortable. Many thanks to the staff of Budget Inn.
