"Park Hotel Ela", located in the picturesque resort of Borovets, is 50 metres from the gondola lift and offers luxurious amenities including a sauna, steam bath and massage treatments. The hotel is very close to the gondola. We had breakfast and dinner included and food was very good, enough variety and very tasty. Newly renovated, had a warm and cosy look and feel.

This impressive spa hotel is located in the heart of the magnificent Rila mountain range, near the popular ski resort of Borovets, only a 50-minute drive away from Sofia. Very nice room (we a had a studio, with a living area, a bedroom and a small dressing), excellent breakfast, very nice spa. The hotel is located practically in the forest, the air is very clean, it's quiet and really relaxing. We liked a lot the swimming pool and the different sauna that are available in the spa area. The staff is very well trained and the restaurant has a very good chef. The prices in the restaurant are pretty high, but it's normal, as the quality of the food and the service are very good. Overall we had a great experience.

We loved everything about this hotel. The facilities were amazing. The staff were so friendly. They looked after us so well. The facilities are excellent with swimming pool, steam room & sauna. We actually missed our booking as we got lost on the Rila Mountains (long story), the hotel called us to make sure we were ok and allowed us to stay the next night. This is an incredible hotel.

A lovely hotel in the Rila mountains. Beautiful grounds, we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the garden. In the cool of the morning we had a tasty, and ample, breakfast served to us in the charming dining room. Wonderful proprietor, Villy, has a calm demeanor, and professional but low key operation. Spotless rooms and grounds. We wished we had planned to stay for longer.

The Hotel & Restaurant are located in a beautiful area in the middle of the Rila Mountains, a short drive from the UNESCO Heritage monastery we well as many other sites and attractions. The staff were very kind and helped us sign in ahead of time. The food was local, homemade and delicious - also very healthy with many vegetables and salads!

We absolutely loved our experience at Lion Hotel. Because the hotel was basically empty when we arrived, Thursday, the lady at reception even asked us at what floor we would like to stay. Breakfast was awesome but we also ate at the restaurant twice. We really liked the size of the room. The hotel is situated a bit far from the town center (20 minutes walk, 3 minutes by car) and this was perfect for us as we wanted to rest. It's also sorrounded by a beautiful forest thus the location it's great in the hot summer days.

Good location in the pine forest on the outskirts of Borovets. Excellent breakfast and dinner selection on the buffet. Convenient free bus shuttle transport to the ski slopes and back. Decent size of the swimming pool with view of the surrounding area, and very pleasant and comfortable spa facilities. The staff are helpful when you need something. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is great! You have to make sure that you will have the home made deals and drinks - very special and delicious. You also get a king breakfast which you definitely need if you are heading to the Seven Rila Lakes.
