This modern guest house offers elegant rooms with contemporary bathrooms in a peaceful, green setting on the edge of Erondegem. Due to a change in our itinerary, we wanted to cancel the hotel, but we were too late, so we slept over anyway. And we were not sorry. Very nice boutique hotel with a beautiful view of nature, extremely friendly owners, very quiet surroundings, spacious rooms and bathroom, new equipment, free parking. Close to the highway, halfway between Ghent and Brussels.

Abalona Hotel & Apartments features elegant rooms with luxurious bathrooms in a modern building, 3km from Dendermonde's market square. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was lovely, the setting was lovely, the room was clean, spacious, quiet and a delight to stay in.

Recently renovated with nice character and a short walk to the town square with bars and restaurants. We stayed in one of the rooms in the roof which was very good, comfy bed and bath with separate large shower. All staff were lovely, friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast recommended, particularly as limited options nearby. Street parking expensive but library (100m away) was €5 a day.
