After 8 hours on the bike in freezing weather, as I came down the hill and 1st saw the hotel I said to myself YES! Looks lovely, quiet location, immaculate. This turned into a fantastic 2 day relaxing stay after 2800 miles on a bike. The pool, sauna & steam room were definitely a bonus. Restaurant was lovely and great menu. Just a really nice hotel for that quiet relaxing get away.

Restaurant (looks and smells good, I didn’t try) must be booked in advance. Another (well rated) restaurant in 50m walk. The street is close but not much traffic. Good breakfast in the hotel. Nice bar with open fire (good wine). I saw (and appreciated) the care of the owners for their place. I will certainly come back.

This traditional hotel is situated in the small village of Redu, "Village of Books" in the peaceful Ardennes region of Belgium. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough for you, including ordering food for one of our group with special dietary requirements. Rooms were clean and modern and cleaned everyday. Parking was easy as the hotel has its own private adjoining car park with a couple of EV charging points. The Bar & Restaurant are fantastic, we ate there and their sister restaurant throughout our visit. I would highly recommend this hotel and friends and I are planning our next visit.

Our stay was truly fabulous! The chalet is incredibly charming with all necessities (and a fully equipped kitchen) and located in a picturesque calm environment. It was nice to feel so welcome and to even have lovely home baked goods on some mornings! The room is comfortable and convenient for both resting and my evening work at the desk.
