We had an excellent stay here mid-April. The chateau has been updated and I adored the mix of old and new in the interior design. The bed was very comfortable and the room was overall cozy. Breakfast was so delicious - in my opinion, definitely worth it. There is a nearby restaurant (Les Plats Canailles de La Bleue Maison) that they were able to get a reservation for us for. One of the best meals of my life. There is also a pretty lake on the property that I would have loved to go on a run around if I had more time. There is also ample parking. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Le Chant du Merle er staðsett í Neufchâteau, í Belgíu Lúxemborgar-héraðinu. Gistirýmið er 34 km frá Bastogne og gestir njóta góðs af ókeypis WiFi og einkabílastæðum á staðnum. The owners serve a delicious breakfast with several quality products produced by local farmers: meat, eggs, cheese,... The breakfast is served on a glazed terrace at a height where you have a magnificent view of the hills and can spot births (I was lucky to have seen the common blackbird (from which the name of the house 'Le chant du Merle' is derived) and swallows (which I have not seen soo many since my youth). If I would not have a further commitment, I would have spent my whole morning sitting at that nice location and watching nature from there or reading a book. Ideal location for hiking and cycling. The bedroom is very quiet and I have not slept better this year. I would definitely go back another time.

This place is a marvel. If you have a car,don't hesitate to book this one....you won't regret it It's in a small village , out of public transport reach,but if arriving by car,this is the one. It's new,modern,spacious,cozy,meticulously build and decorated it offers you everything you're looking for as per nice comfortable stay while traveling. Jerome the owner even offered before our arrival to lit a wooden stove for us - it was cold and snowy on the day of our arrival. Once we stepped in,the coziness of this place was overwhelming My wife instantly told me that she regrets we were staying there for 1 night only Jerome lives right next door, his English was limited but we didn't have any problems to communicate at all. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, it's perfect fit for family of 4. We will ABSOLUTELY stay at this place in the future when we will be in that area again. There is no store or restaurant in that small village but in the radius of 10-15 km (.10 miles) there are restaurants,grocery stores,fast food chains.....just keep.in mind some are closing around 5.00-6.00pm.

Great hosts, clean apartment and equipped kitchen! Warmed and lighted the place when we arrived, so it felt cozy and warm from the start. Very friendly hosts!
