First of all it wasn’t the plan to book this property because it was far from where we were. Anyway, after discussion with the owner we decided to come and it was the best bet. Really good place, cozy and the scenery is really nice around the fire to get warmer Good rooms and kitchen, we had an awesome dinner.

The Bears Went Over The Mountain offers boutique hotel accommodation in Geeveston's town centre. Each room includes a TV and a private en suite bathroom. We loved the antique, yet comfy bed, the large bath tub, the wood fire & the delicious breakfast that the lovely owner made for us. She also provided informative information on the platypus who live in the local creek. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait for Mr Platypus, so I bought a post card of a platypus photo! Well done to the owner of Bears Went over the Mountain! We were in room 2 on 26.11.22.

Boasting a garden and free WiFi, Birch Lane is set in Cradoc. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Guests can enjoy mountain views. It was lovely! We spend christmas there and its such a nice little house ! Thank you very much, Love it !!

Base Camp Tasmania offers accommodation in Glenfern via New Norfolk. Hobart is 49 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. All units include a seating area. The hosts are very friendly. There are lots of cangurus around and the facilities are very nice!
