I can highly recommend this place.

The facilities and rooms were amazing but there were little touches (availability of firmer pillows if we wanted - we didn't, the wine menu rating the wines from dry to sweet, the shampoo in the courtesy products was so nice!) I loved every minute of it an can't recommend the hotel and food highly enough. Thank you

In verità non abbiamo visitato Brisbane ma due parchi nella parte meridionale del Queensland (Lamington e Springbrook) perché ci interessava la foresta pluviale temperata. Luoghi davvero stupendi. Del resto tutta questa zona del Queensland è molto gradevole.

Palm Cove è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare il Queensland del Nord: è vicina a Cairns, ma l'atmosfera è certamente più tranquilla e rilassata e a differenza del capoluogo c'è una bella spiaggia di sabbia. Il paese è piuttosto piccolo e tranquillo, ma offre un discreto numero di ristoranti di buona qualità. Da qui è possibile fare escursioni in giornata al Daintree National Park, alle Atherton Tablelands o sulle isole vicine alla costa partendo da Cairns.

bellissima città piena di locali e bellissimi sentieri pedonali, ha un non so che di artistico ed è meno caotica e vivibile di città come sydney. consigliatissima per passarci 3/4 giorni. direi metà quasi obbligata per chi ci passa per andare rispettivamente a nord o a sud del queensland

Meta perfetta per raggiungere i siti naturalistici più famosi del Queensland. Per i giovani e per i backpackers è ideale, attenzione alla vita notturna: nonostante ci siano numerosi locali mancano delle iniziative di intrattenimento o più diffusamente manca nella nightlife di qualità. Attenzione che quello che si vede nella maggior parte delle foto non è mare balneabile ma una grande laguna dove ci sono i coccodrilli. Le uniche parti balneabili sono costituite dalle strutture artificiali (Cairns Esplanade Lagoon). Bellissimo il giardino botanico anche se resta un pò fuori dalla città e non è molto ben pubblicizzato.

Tranquilla e soleggiata, Brisbane riflette lo stile di vita del Queensland, fatto di spiaggia, sole e domeniche in famiglia. Southbank merita davvero! Se Sydney è troppo grande e Melbourne vi è sembrata perfetta ma troppo caotica, allora Brisbane la troverete la combinazione perfetta tra le due!

Ottima posizione per visitare la foresta pluviale e le spiagge del nord del Queensland. Offre tantissime escursioni da fare in giornata! Bella cittadina molto tranquilla. Consigliatissime le passeggiate sull'Explanade e un bagno nella Lagoon. Città sicura e pulità. Molte soluzioni per mangiare con ottimi ristorantini sia di carne che di pesce per la sera. Da visitare a piedi!
