Located in Sarina, a few steps from Sarina Beach, Sandpiper Motel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We were so happy to have found this little gem of a motel! This is a family-owned business, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and had ocean views. There is a massive deck with tables and chairs to enjoy your meals. The beautiful beach is right on the other side of the street.

Booked this last minute and was not disappointed. All staff were fantastic & couldn't of done any more for me. Meal was lovely and was handy having the laundry facility there. Mackay wasn't on my intinary to stop but the staff made this an enjoyable stay, and took away from the stress of not being able to reach my original destination of Airlie Beach due to road closures and weather conditions.

Staff were great, we were coming in on a late flight and the staff accommodated to this, the cooked the three of us food ready for arrival which was around an hour after the kitchen had closed, the room had a microwave and was clean.
