Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. A very old historic building of the 14thC. Neat and spacious common areas, good sized bedrooms; down feather amenities; logo slippers, gowns, and ten out of ten heating; very clean spa. Linen change as you wished and towels daily. Breakfast: it was above and beyond with fresh produce and a full basket of local dishes, Austrian hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fluffy viennese croissants, vegan & vegetarian diets, breads, desserts etc and a large assortment of juices, teas & coffees. Lunch and dinner: it was a pleasant experience too. The service of the staff: was excellent with very polite staff available to assist you in any in-house enquiries to suggestions for outdoor experiences. Location: location was value for money! Hotel in a small village, next to a large market center, a 14min drive to Salzburg Old Town and a 45min drive to the closest ski resort. We would definitely return to this gasthouse.

It was clean, bed super comfortable , breakfast abondant. The staff helpful. Nice location, just couple of km away from the autobahn.

The spa area (had a 1/2 hour massage which was amazing!) was also lovely and we really enjoyed the lake which was so refreshing and fun to swim to swim in after a day of sightseeing.

The rooms are very clean, the bed & pillow are super comfortable. The room amenities are splendid. All the staffs are the friendliest people I have met and they are super helpful. I recommend also to try their Michelin star restaurant on the ground floor. I also suggest that you ask the hotel manager her recommendations on some best restaurants nearby.

Wonderful breakfast. Very warm welcome. Beautiful garden. Bus stop just outside for anyone not wanting to walk into town (about 15 mins).

The entire property as well as our room was well appointed, well maintained, very comfortable and charming. Situated in a nice residential area within walking distance from the city center. The hosts and staff were fantastic and the breakfast was great.
