Nice, very clean, good breakfast (11 euro/person), free parking surveillance video, really nice personal staff. At reception were open till 00:00, so if you arrive late in the evening is a plus. Also you can serve dinner till 22:00. Breakfast was from 06:30-10:30. Free good wi-fi. The elevator is opening in the parking also. Fast response on booking messages. The hotel is 3km away from highway. Close to the hotel is a gas station ⛽️. Definitely we will make stops here in the future. Thanks 😊

A renovated castle dating from the 17th century, Schloss Thalheim is surrounded by a large garden and features a restaurant with a terrace. St. Pölten is a 20-minute drive away. The experience was exceptional. Due to low season, the hotel was very quiet and calm. Travelling with two small children, we appreciated mostly that we weren't disturbing anyone with our kids being loud. The staff was friendly, the room spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The food was delicious. The thing I appreciate the most was their attention when it came to my kids allergy. I informed them in advance and both for dinner and breakfast there were plenty of options available for them. Big plus

This time we chose a hotel just in the valley, where all interesting places are located around within 10 km. We were attracted by the Hochkar mountain and both the Wasserlochklamm and the Gams bei Hieflau waterfalls. The Fahrnberger hotel is a nice building already from outside and a reasonably big parking is located in front of the building. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, although we do not speak German (they also fluently speak English). We were accommodated in a nice, separate building near the main hotel building. We like the style how the hotel is equipped: it is a local Austrian natural design but providing the maximum comfort. We felt like we were on our honeymoon there. In the evening we enjoyed a great Riesling white wine in the hotel lounge. The four poster bed, located in our big and amazing room, provided a very pleasant environment in the night. The bathroom with a shower was also big and comfortable. The toilet was in a separate room. In the morning we have a nice mountain view from the window of our room. The breakfast was very tasty and we also enjoyed sitting places in front of the hotel to absorb the atmosphere of the Alps mountains. We left the hotel totally satisfied and the price for the accommodation seems to us very adequate. For sure, we plan to return there in the future.
