Featuring a bar, spa and wellness centre and views of mountain, Badeschloss is set in Bad Gastein, 700 metres from Bad Gastein Railway Station. This was possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were really helpful and the facilities were excellent. They had a Finnish sauna which was actually pretty close to the real thing. A dip in the roof top pool before breakfast is highly recommended!

The hotel is brand new, architecturally perfect, stylish and reeks of old times. It is as if you have returned to the end of the 19th century. Everything is perfectly designed and combined with the modern age. The staff is very kind, very professional, and I would especially single out Anja, Romano and Timo from the reception, Zoran from the Spa center and the younger guy from the restaurant ( during breakfast time). We are definitely coming again in January.

The whole experience at the hotel was phenomenal, from the classy check in till the day I checked out . Not mentioning the spa experience surrounding with stunning view of the Alps . This small farmhouse, located high above the town, has a magnificent view of the mountains and the whole Gastein valley - probably the best in Bad Hofgastein, I think. You are here in complete peace surrounded by nature - we recommend home-made products for breakfast. The owners are very nice and happy to help with everything. Our apartment was absolutely clean and big enough - we also appreciated the plenty of storage space in the wardrobes.

Good location, 10 minute walk to the ski lift, nice place to store ski equipment during the night, parking available on site, nice room and bathroom. There are a few good places eat out in the nearby. Walking the dog in the area is fun way to discover Dorfgastein and please remember to pick up the litter after your pet. There is a coffee machine near the reception and you can pay with card.
