Set 6.2 km from Buxton Opera House, 27 km from Chatsworth House and 33 km from Capesthorne Hall, The Old Barn provides accommodation located in Buxton. We had a lovely stay with Lynn and Pete. They are very friendly and warm hosts. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A lovely bright bathroom. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Lynn gave us lots of information about the area. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice.. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Set in Highpeak Junction, 14 km from Buxton Opera House, The Swan Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent stay. Luxurious room with bedding that was super high quality. Lovely finishing touches to the room were excellent but homely. Meal in restaurant and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Situated in Great Longstone, the recently renovated Counting Sheep features accommodation 8.5 km from Chatsworth House and 19 km from Buxton Opera House. It’s a lovely cottage in a small village near bakewell. We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was comfortable with all the necessary things. It was tidy and beautifully decorated. The owner was friendly and he made sure we have a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Located in Chesterfield and with Chatsworth House reachable within 13 km, Bulls Head - Holymoorside provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Very nice location and facilities. The room was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. There is a daily cleaning service. We enjoyed our time spent here and we definitely recommend it.

Located just 22 km from Chatsworth House, Meersbrook Luxury Duplex Apartment offers accommodation in Sheffield with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as private check-in and check-out. The apartment was so spacious even as a one bedroom apartment. The location is excellent as everything from convenience stores, to cafés, restaurants, bus points, are very much accessible. The apartment had about everything we needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The host most of all has been so helpful - he would respond to all inquiries asap and at any time of the day. Our kids love the apartment and we would certainly recommend it to more friends.

Boasting garden views, Park House Studio offers accommodation with barbecue facilities and a patio, around 15 km from Chatsworth House. A cute comfortable studio. Everything we needed for a few days. Tea, coffee, chocolate biscuits and milk supplied by the owner was very much appreciated.

Rooms were clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hostess was polite and discreetly checked whether we needed anything during our stay. Great attention was given to every detail, from decoration of the property to everything that you may need for breakfast. We really appreciated the welcoming local Bakewell tarts and wine.
