I ever stayed an extra night!

The room included a love seat sofa which was a plus for us. Bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. The hotel owner was friendly and even gave us great hiking tips and info on a couple waterfalls in the area considering the weather was rather poor. Would stay again.

Very convenient to stores, recreation activities and beaches. Many restaurants in area to select from. Ground are beautifully maintained. I will book again at this motel.

Located just off Interstate 93, this motel is within a 10-minute drive of both Loon Mountain and Cannon Mountain. It features a heated outdoor pool, a large yard for campfires, and free Wi-Fi access. Franconia Notch State Park is 2 miles away. This is not the Holiday Inn or any other overpriced chain hotel. If that the kind of bland, unimaginative place you want to stay in, go somewhere else. This is a real 1950s style motel that has been lovingly maintained and refurbished. The owners have clearly worked hard to provide a comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation with a home-like feel. Perhaps all the furnishings don’t quite match but what is there is clean, well kept and in good order. When I checked in I was met by a charming man who obviously takes great pride in his establishment. He is a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area, more than happy to provide useful suggestions about where to eat, etc. The bathroom has been nicely updated, the bed was comfy, the fridge and microwave handy. There is no in-room coffee maker but good quality coffee is available in the lobby 24hours a day.

The motel staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice view of the lake and I loved sitting out on the dock.

Went to Hampton Beach to see a concert at the Casino Ballroom which was only a couple of minutes away by foot.
