Booked as a stop over during long desert drive. Wasn't expecting anything great but was very impressed at the value for money when we arrived. Very clean, tidy and comfortable.

Both hotel owners were so kind and so helpful, they really made our stay extra special. They gave us a lot of good recommendations and even showed us around town. We are used to stay at higher end hotels, so the rooms are not big but it’s very clean and you’ve got everything you need. To be honest, we loved it just as much if not more because of the personal touch! Theres also a small store at the office which has plenty to offer. We would really recommend staying a night at Virginia city to get the full experience, and if you do stay at the Sugarloaf!
