Stopforths Motel features spacious and luxurious accommodation just 450 metres from the centre of Hokitka. Opening in 2018, guests can admire the Southern Alps views or the stars on an astronomy tour.... definitely the best accommodation we had in West Coast area. Room has all the facilities and necessities you need even a dish washer! Room is very clean and location is close to town centre but on a quiet street. A big park nearby. The host Sonja (forgive me if I spell it wrong lol) was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Offering views of the mountain, Karamea River Motels is located in Karamea in the West Coast Region. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating and dining area. The location was perfect when picking our son up from the Heaphy track! Laundry facilities were a bonus. The unit was spacious and clean and very comfortable for 3 people. Beautiful view! Allison was friendly, helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat.
