Set in National Park, Mountain Heights Lodge offers six self-contained motel units and four ensuite B&B rooms, BnB rooms welcomes children over the age of 14 and above. Private parking is free. Fantastic and big place to stay. We enjoy local beaches, parks and views. Nice hosts to provide freerange eggs and some food for breakfast. If possible, we will go back to stay more days.

Located just a 30-minute drive from Turoa Ski Area, Ossies Motels and Chalets offers a tranquil retreat. It features a sauna and BBQ facilities. The friendly hosts, John & Sue, were amazing with help and suggestions and offering alternative activities. The free laundry was a blessing. We were located close to town, and to several walks and scenic drives. The map provided of the local area was very helpful.

Numbered parking outside the door, big room and bathroom, nicely-equipped kitchen, very well-run place.

Tongariro Springs Boutique Suites is located in Tongariro National Park. The room was very comfortable, but could have used a rug or mat at the inside of the doorway to help keep the muck from our shoes coming into the room (it was so rainy while we were there, we weren’t comfortable leaving them outside). Really appreciated the drying room. If we come back to the park, we would probably try to stay here again.

The Hobbit Motorlodge offers a hot tub and free unlimited WiFi. It is a 50-minute drive from the Tongariro Crossing, and the property can arrange for a drop-off service at a charge. The room was great as our two bedrm unit was broken so we were given a better and greater deal. Room was very clean and the staff, Michelle, worked so hard to help us get in our room and even helped with laundry. She went above snd beyond and deserves a big fat raise!

Nestled in the picturesque mountain town of Ohakune, at the foot of Mt Ruapehu, Ruapehu Mountain Motel and Lodge offers travelers accommodation in a variety of room types. Great location, lovely motel with large, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good kitchen facilities. Would highly recommend this accommodation and would be very happy to stay there again.
