Really, one of the best rooms I have stayed in during my NZ travels. The room is well designed. When you enter there's a row of tiles in case you have dirty or wet shoes. Then there's very soft and comfy carpet. Bed was nice and the shower has a roof on it. Great way to prevent mold in the bathroom and keeping the heat and water inside the shower cabin.

Free bike storage is provided. Loved the warm welcome we received remotely, as we were checking in after hours. The unit was spotless and very well equipped! Love that there was recycling (something I find lacking in NZ hotels) and that the laundry facilities were free of charge.

It is located 5 minutes’ walk from Te Anau Wildlife Park and features accommodation with lake or garden views. The view is excellent, and the balcony is nice though windy and chilly in winter but at least we took nice pictures from the balcony. The wifi is good and the heater worked well. The location is good, nice to walk along the lake and not far from the central city.
