Room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the cleaning ladies did a fabulous job of servicing them daily. Checking in was seamless and we were shown around the unit and everything explained in detail how to use air con, TV, etc. No road noise could be heard and bed was so comfy, we slept well! As we travel alot, it is important we choose good accommodation and I can, without a doubt say that this motel is top of our list! Thanks so much for your hospitality!

It has a parking right next to the rooms. the rooms are clean and nice. it is a quiet place few minutes walking from the lake, the restaurants and supermarket. We have used it as a centre to visit Rotorua, Tongariro and Huka Falls. and even access to some running trails

Boasting an idyllic lake front setting, Acacia Lake View Motel offers free WiFi. Some rooms feature a balcony. All have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The staff were exceptional. We accidentally left our iPad there and they were so helpful in getting it shipped to us. We anticipated it would be a few days to get it but they were so quick to get the iPad out we had it arrive at our location before we even got there. Their recommendations for things to do in the area were great. We enjoyed our time at this motel.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. Very clean, cozy, good location. The gardens looked perfect, they are doing a great job do keep the facilities gorgeous. Tongariro alpine Crossing 50 km away, for those in for fishing Tongariro river is just behind the corner as you simply get out from the lodge there.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. How close it was to everything. It was so modern and like a home away from home.

The owner is very friendly, and helped us with our queries even at night. Responsive to help messages even before the trip too. The room is extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. There is even a room spa bathtub, something which many facilities do not have. The location is very near the sea, which is of a very beautiful view. It is also about 5 mins away from town which has different shops and eateries. Very convenient to get food.
