Large room with balcony overlooking mountains. Excellent facilities including a laundry. Ideally located to explore the North end of South Island and food and drinks available close by. Small town and very quiet at night.

Each room at this solar-powered property includes electric blankets, basic cooking facilities, a modern en suite bathroom, and a TV with DVD player. Continental breakfast is available for guests each morning at an additional charge. Due to travel issues, we had to communicate quite a lot with the owners due to very late arrival. They were exceptionally helpful, and made it all very easy for us. Excellent hosts, with a fabulous Garen Cottage for our stay. Outstanding.
