We had a fabulous weekend. Our hosts, the Webers, are on-site and absolutely wonderful. They made us feel right at home. Even the housekeeping staff was very friendly and efficient. It was so nice having a fireplace in the room. Sure was cozy after a full day out in the cold.

The hot tub looked ok but the pool was pretty cloudy. The breakfast was pretty basic but definetly ok. Although the motel was old and a bit run down looking, the room was ok and clean but the bed was not comfortable. Staff were very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about their patrons.. I only stayed two of the seven days I reserved and checked out. Moved to the Bluebird hotel for the next five days. The carriage house was far less attractive than it appears on their website. The entire motel was completely renovated and is modern with a frig, Keurig w/Starbucks, big TV, nice beds, and an ALEXA which can play most any radio station or music style. Breakfast right across the street. Short drive from village strip.
