For an older hotel, I was impressed with the detail of the remodeling of the rooms, very nice. Very clean accommodations and good size room. The mattress seemed comfortable enough for one-night's stay.

We liked everything, the staff was super nice, very welcoming, it was very clean, comfy, quiet, we had all what we needed and all the staff was very helpful and made our 2 nights stay very pleasent, we didn t like to leave. Thanks to everybody :)

The beds were comfortable and at least in Room 111, the big cushy chair by the window, if I had a bigger car, it would have come home with me. I was tired and needed to relax so that was important. The other places in Ely and surrounding areas were mostly older motels; I have severe allergies and can't stay in those kinds of places. So the Holiday Inn was like an oasis to me. It was nice to have breakfast available. For that type of serve yourself meal it was pretty decent.JulieSolo traveler

When they learned we were going to leave before breakfast started they gave us some pastries in the evening. The room was nicer than I expected with lots of space and a good size refrigerator.
