The owners and the manager are very attentive to the needs of its customers and Secuirty is very good ( They take it seriously) I’ve stayed in many hotels in the area over the years and the Continental Hotel is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at! This is a GEM of a motel in Oakland,CA. We traveled down the PCH from Canada staying in many motels along the route. This property was exceptionally clean inside and out. The room was spotless! The bed was firm and comfortable and the bathroom had a large bright shower and ample counterspace. We spent 3 nights here while visiting San Fransisco. The BART is only a few blocks making it ideal to get into SF . What the area around the motel lacks this bright, clean and well cared for motel makes up for. With that said... I felt safe walking to the BART during the day but would not be out and about after dark. This facility provides ample parking with cameras. All in all great stop!
