The location immediately adjacent the beach, Strand and wharf is unbeatable. Our room was spacious with a well equipped small kitchen and comfortable spaces to relax. We availed ourselves of the bikes to visit Oneroa Beach over the hill, and the sea kayaks to nose around the moored boats in the bay, for some active relaxation.

Lovely motel right in the heart of Russell. All mod cons provided. An added bonus was we were able to bring our dog at no extra cost.

An older property but looked after very well. Trevor welcomed us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know and answered any questions we had. We spent two nights and wished we had more time.Paihia is a quaint and beautiful little town in the Bay of Islands. The motel was within very easy walking distance of the town with several resort choose from. The included breakfast was phenomenal and served right to our door right at the chosen time. We highly recommend Paihia Star Motel for value and a wonderful stay. It was well appointed, clean and friendly and the beds most comfortable! Thank you Trevor!!!

Bayview is absolutely amazing! Friendly and kind. Me and my friend had lost our car keys, which ended up in kaikohe. They offered to take us to get our keys, which would've cost us a huge amount! They also gave us amazing room with a fantastic view. Thank you, Bayview, we will definitely be back x

The location is amazing with a wonderful sea view. The apartment is big for 2 People. The room is comfortable. Tea, Coffee, hot chocolate and even Milk are kindly provided. All restaurants are very near.
