The ingredients left for breakfast were just what we had asked for, bacon and eggs! We also enjoyed good coffees, and appreciated the other foods left such as cheeses, crackers, bread and a bottle of rosé

The room is absolutely gorgeous. So peaceful and quiet as it's back from the road with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing and would also recommend the foodie platter, there which was enough for my dinner and leftovers for lunch for my long trip home. Loved all the little touches that make the room feel homely and less like a motel/hotel room.

It is a wonderful motel in Masterton. A little further out of the centre of Masterton, but that suited as an older couple who wanted a quiet weekend away from Wellington. Staff are always very helpful and pleasant and told us how to save money on our room rate, without changing the cancellation period. That was really appreciated. Rooms are very clean. Quiet neighbourhood. It is our place that we stay when we regularly visit Masterton.

I travelled with a group of secondary school aged hockey players to Masterton. We had a tournament in Clareville. The motel was conveniently located within 15 mins of the hockey turf. Both Chinmay and Pam were excellent with their communication. Nothing was every too much trouble. Was great to have access to the pool. Villa was very comfortable. And was perfect for providing a base for the players to gather. Loved the icebox in the freezer and the toilet spray in the toilets...a nice touch.

Location was great. Given the hot temperatures, it was great to have the pool (reason for motel choice). Walking distance to supermarket, The Warehouse and coffee. Plenty of parking and quieter than expected overnight.

The house was amazing. Built in 1887, and upgraded with modern fittings, while maintaining the charm of the old villa. Very conveniently laid out. Separate coffee room. Huuuuge room with a comfy bed, and (quite possibly) the best bathroom I've seen in any hotel/motel. Nice (common) lounge with a large TV and home theatre system (with Netflix). Enjoyed a nice movie and whisky after dinner in there. Alistair and Jane are great hosts. Cooked us a lovely breakfast, and were genuinely friendly folk.
