The motel is a quirky refurbishment of quite an old motel. It suited us for 2 nights, but their restaurant was out of action because of a function. We slept well in the single beds and not worried by road noise.

As a solo traveller most of the time (yay retirement), feeling safe, comfortable and looked after is number one for me. Junction Motel met the criteria. Plus, it has personality. There is so much to look at, from lovely artworks to shop dummies to an abundance of succulents. This is not a boring, sterile come and go motel. Separate toilet in the bathroom area. Just what we needed close to Hobart before we fly out. A underated motel. We will definitely stay again if we visit the area.
