Spa and pool were amazing. Breakfast was very delicious. Location of the hotel was perfect.

Primely located along the bank of the Douro River, this 5-star hotel has stunning views over the valley. Douro Royal Valley features a restaurant, outdoor and indoor pools, tennis court and a Spa & Wellness centre. The location is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The aircondition was not working in the room. All efforts were made by the staff to get it sorted and in the end we were upgraded to a suit. Nuno was very helpfull and did his best to make our stay pleasant. Amazing views on the 6th floor rooms, with a small private garden. The spa experience was great. Breakfast layout was great with good selection of food. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant as well but felt it was bit expensive.
