The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. the luxuriously late check out - 12 pm so we could use gym, have breakfast and enjoy the spa facilities before we left for our afternoon flight. it was a perfect end to our trip. the spa facilities and gym are fantastic. saunas work great. everything was super clean. soaps were nice. the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. the bar with board games was a perfect way to spend the evening since the town doesn’t have much to offer in terms of restaurants etc. the cocktails were very nice. staff was generous. breakfast was the best on the island. nice generous free gift at spa.

Grand hotel that I think has only recently opened. Lovely views of Monte Brasil. Has a swimming pool. Spacious airy feel to the place and interesting history. Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly. Very personalised feel to the place due to high staff/guest ratio; were able to assist me a lot. Nice breakfast. Large area in front of entrance to park car.

Perfect! Super friendly staff, from the reception to the restaurant, everyone was super friendly and always greeted us with a smile. A lot of attention to details: small details that really made a difference , like cookies delivered on our door or a scented candle before night time. We were positively surprised and felt super comfortable! The breakfast was very good, good variety, buffet + a la carte menu very good ! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Easy to park, location was also very good. Super calm and zero noise at night, which is great.

The hotel was amazing, great design, superb views, and great kitchen. The staff were excellent, friendly and extremely accomodating, especially Rui (with hiking suggestions etc), Marianne and the new masseuse Debora. We will definitely be back to check out the new extension (being built now, but not in any way interfering with the stay).

Featuring a patio with mountain views, pool with a view and a garden, Mosteiros Place can be found in Mosteiros, close to Praia dos Mosteiros and 4.8 km from Lagoa Azul. Staff was amazing and the place was so peacefull. Loved to stay there.

Situated in Madalena in the Pico island region, Vinhas do Calhau has a balcony. With sea views, this accommodation offers a terrace. Ko gero, tai pati geriausia vieta apsistoti keletui dienų Pico saloje. Netoliese už ~5 km pagrindinis salos miestas - Madalena. Tuo pačiu iš čia lengvai pasiekiamos visos kitos įdomiausios salos vietos. Už lango nuostabus vaizdas į Atlanto vandenyną, esantį čia pat, tik už 150 metrų. Mūsų apartamentai buvo išties itin erdvūs ---> pirmame aukšte didelė svetainė ir terasa su puikiu vaizdu į vandenyną bei gretimą Faial salą. Antrame aukšte - miegamasis ir vonios kambarys. Viskas šiuolaikiškai ir skoningai įrengta. Žinoma, nemokama vieta automobilio parkavimui. Ir tikrai skanūs pusryčiai + kava (beje, man itin patiko mažučiai krusasnai ir pyragėliai su razinomis) :-) Taip pat didžiulė padėka Anai Paulai už malonų priėmimą atvykus. __________________ This is probably the best place to stay for a few days on Pico Island. The main town of the island - Madalena - is nearby for ~5 km. At the same time, all the other most interesting places on the island are easily accessible from here. Outside the window, there is a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean, which is right here, only 150 meters away. Our apartment was really Great spacious ---> on the first floor there was a big Living room and a Terrace with a great view of the ocean and the neighboring island of Faial. On the second floor - a bedroom and a bathroom. Everything is modern and tastefully furnished. Of course, free parking space. And a really delicious breakfast + coffee (by the way, I especially liked the little croissants and raisin cakes) :-) Also a big thank you to Ana Paula for the kind welcome on arrival.
